Celebrating Our CEO's Appointment as Trustee of Walthamstow Toy Library and Play Centre

We are delighted to announce that our CEO, Nathan Gabbidon (Nate) has been appointed as a trustee of the Walthamstow Toy Library and Play Centre, a cherished educational charity that has been serving the community of Waltham Forest for over 48 years. This esteemed role reflects Nate’s unwavering commitment to community development and early childhood education.

About Walthamstow Toy Library and Play Centre

Established by a group of health visitors concerned about children's access to toys, the Walthamstow Toy Library and Play Centre provides a safe and stimulating environment for young children and their parents or carers to play, learn and interact. Their services include daily play sessions, an extensive toy loaning service and various health and wellbeing support services. They also offer volunteering opportunities for local students and residents, fostering a sense of community and shared responsibility. 

Our CEO's Vision and Commitment

At The Skills Within, we specialise in matching individuals to creative and operational roles, filling gaps within businesses and partner organisations. We create marketing materials, advertising campaigns and promotional and fundraising events to increase revenue and develop businesses. Founded in January 2022, we aim to bridge gaps that hinder growth for families, friends and communities. 

Nate's appointment as a trustee aligns seamlessly with our mission to empower individuals and businesses for community benefit. By joining the board of trustees, Nate aims to contribute strategic insights and leadership skills to further the Toy Library's mission of providing safe, creative spaces for children and their carers.
